Visit to Lytle – Shooting

Adriana and Matt invite us for a trip to the world famous town of Lytle as CALK OIL is headquartered here. However, we didn’t drove for 110 miles to do business but for some good old TX BBQ, skeet shooting, swimming and more. So, let’s skip the swimming/BBQ pictures and go straight to the shooting part. Sheet shooting is what the Dutch would call “klei duiven schieten”. Hence, you take a big size shotgun (20 gauge or 12 gauge) and aim at flying biodegradable clay disks. It was a lot of fun and my and Danielle’s first time to shoot a real gun.

Also Danielle gave it a try and after a few tried she hit one!  Well DONE! I was amazed by the noise of the guns! The recall was ok but you definitely needed the earplugs.

I also tried the pump action shotgun aka: “the Zombie Gun” which could hold up to 7 shells but was not very accurate :-).

Thanks Adriana for the pictures and organizing the trip. (see more pictures here). The after party in the pool with the big 155″ inflatable movie screen made it our best weekend so far!
