Hawaii was a blast

It was beautiful, photo-perfect, entertaining, relaxing, but also short & pretty busy… for the latter two we have to blame ourselves because we crammed a lot of activities in these 4 days in Hawaii. We stayed on Oahu and that was a good choice because there is enough to do and it was relatively easy to get around. Peal harbour was impressive, especially the visit to the Arizona memorial and the USS Missouri.

Of course we also spend a full morning snorkeling and swimming in Hanauma bay (see picture in prev. post). You didn’t even need an underwater camera because the fishes just swim between your feet. While touring the island we visited many beaches, hiked a volcanic crater, but also stopped for a nice temple and a botanical garden. Both the coastal highways and the various highways through the mountains are worth a drive!  Another morning was spend on a catamaran enjoying a nice view of Waikiki and spotting sea turtles.

After some good Teppanyaki and shooting some golf balls @ turtle bay resort is was time to go home… luckily we still have the pictures. You can find them here.

Wonderful days in Hawaii and busy too…
    Nice photos!
During these two years both of you have seen a lot; there is so much to explore…
We wonder if Europe is still in favor?
    Bye – mams
