Snowbird Experience

After a 3 hour flight from Austin we arrived at SaltLakeCity airport and within 40 min we were among the mountains heading to our ski-resort. With >100 inches of snow @ base level and more on the way in the next few days we could both enjoy powder snow and “hard-pack” groomed trails. We did push out luck a bit too much on the first two days as I twisted my ankle and Doug injured his knee…  but some sports tape, tiger balm and Advil did the trick (at least for me…). Rob arrived on day 3. Just perfect timing! The fresh snow arrived the night before and the sun started shining again, ready for 2 more days of snowboarding… euhhh; skiing (next time pick a board Rob!!).

Nice and easy, but this area was fully covered with double diamond black runs…

Sun is shining, quiet slopes, no queues, what more do you need?
